Chris Yatooma - President

I purchased my first home 1990. The original plan was to buy, fix and flip the house, but instead I rented it. Since then I have acquired over fifty single family homes and several small apartment buildings as rentals. I started doing Section Eight rentals early and really liked the program. Most of my rentals are section eight and I have developed strong relationships with section eight offices all over metro Detroit. Over the years I have bought, rehabbed and sold many properties including vacant land, single-family homes, duplex and apartment buildings. In my early years, I was a master certified auto Mechanic. I obtained my builder’s license in 1993, and then started my own company, Paradigm Development, with fellow board member Rick Pridemore. I then got my Real Estate Sales license in 1998 and my Real Estate Brokers License in 2002 and branched off to Paradigm Realty. I have invested in many different aspects of Real Estate Investing including Pre-Foreclosure, Foreclosure, REO’s, Buy, Fix & Flip, Building New Homes and HUD Homes. I manage and perform most of the repairs/maintenance myself with a small crew. I have been a member with REIA of Oakland since 1997 and became a board member in 2003. I am the Chairperson of the Pontiac Sub-Group, a special group formed to address the problems/issues with the City of Pontiac. I am an avid boater and spend a lot of my time on Lake St. Clair with my family in the summer. I have been married since 1998 and my wife is a Special Education teacher in Troy. Feel free to contact me if you would like to talk real estate, boating or you are looking for somewhere to hang your Real Estate License.
