REIA of Oakland is one of the best kept secrets in real estate investing.

When you joined not only did you become a member of our organization,

you also became a member of National REIA and all the benefits

(nationalreia.com) that come along with it.  You also became a member

of The Rental Owners Property Association of Michigan (RPOA-M). 

They meet on the third Monday of every month. REIA of Oakland is 

represented by Board Member Don Eichstaedt. Annual dues (paid

through your REIA Membership to RPOAM) are used to lobby Michigan

legislature on laws related to property ownership and management.

The Early Bird portion of our meetings is another jewel of our organization.  Hosted by Board Members Len Bale and Barbara Drake, this informal question and answer session really allows a more intimate setting to ask questions and gain knowledge through discussions.

Beginning this month REIA of Oakland is proud to announce the start of the Professional Housing Provider.  Members will be eligible to receive credit toward Professional Housing Provider (PHP) designation. The PHP designation is a certification created to recognize the high level of knowledge, achievement and professionalism of the designee. The program is sponsored and monitored by your local REIA chapter, but is recognized nationwide through National REIA.  The details of this program are listed on the next page.

REIA of Oakland is solely run as a volunteer organization with fifteen board members who volunteer their time and expertise. I feel very privileged to serve on a board that not only are its members extremely experienced about real estate investing but also put the organization’s interests ahead of their own.   As a member of REIA of Oakland, be rest assured you are in good hands.
