President's Message

We have been in our new facility, The Michigan State University Management Education Center (MSU-MEC), for one year now and I have to say it has worked out really well. I wanted to thank my good friend and our Board Member, Technology Coordinator Rick Pridemore for finding and negotiating this great facility we now call home.

This facility fosters an excellent networking environment and allows members to visit and speak with our vendors at anytime without interrupting the program. The auditorium offers stadium seating with excellent acoustics and a large overhead screen that is conducive to an educational environment.

We are working very hard to ensure that each of our programs and speakers have been thoroughly researched while providing additional courses and events through which to learn and network. If you have any suggestions of ways to improve our program, please don’t hesitate to let us know by contacting any board member, or simply leave a note at our check-in desk on your way out. Your feedback/criticism is vital to helping us serve our membership while providing the most dynamic programs. The board has worked diligently to secure a schedule for the 2008 year that you will find educational and on the cutting edge for REIA of Oakland and its membership.
