Wholesaling in Detroit

I had a wholesaling business in the Tampa Bay area before the market took a dump. Now that I'm in Michigan I have an interest in wholesaling in the Warren Metro area. The rules have changed along with the economy...
Are there still investor friendly title companies in the Detroit area that does simultaneous closings?
Or is transactional funding the investors popular choice today?
Or is closing the deal using private money the best way to close deals now?
I have heard that wholesaling is dead now due to funding issues but I refuse to believe that lie.
Thank you all! David
